The family have a full time nanny who takes sole charge of the children but Gina takes some shared care of children in the afternoons whilst the school runs are happening and also some babysitting in the evenings, The family feel they need someone only part time for 20 hours per week from April time. | | 2006 – Feb 2009 | London Holland Park | A full time live in housekeeper role for a English family with 3 children aged 8,10 and 12 years, the role was full time from 7,30am – 7pm Monday to Friday and Gina took sole charge of the cleaning of the families 5 bed roomed home, the family self confess they have extremely high standards which Gina has met throughout her time their, she takes care of all household chores, making beds, stocking the cupboards, shopping, deliveries as well as laundry, ironing, dry cleaning and some dog walking. The role also includes Gina cooking each evening for the family and occasionally dinner parties which she cooks for and serves for, Gina finished the position when she went on to maternity leave in May 08 and was due to return in November 08 however the family have had a change in circumstance and no longer require a full time live in housekeeper, we have received an outstanding written reference from this family and we have also spoken to the family in detail and they have given a glowing verbal reference in which they described Gina as capable, confident, a great cook and excellent at her job. | | 2003 – 2006 | Singapore and London | A full time live in position working for a English couple in their 50s who brought Gina to the uk in 04. The role was purely housekeeping and cleaning and Gina was n charge of keeping the 5 bedroom home spotless and immaculate at all times, she would take care of the silver and brass and antiques, and treated furniture, the couple also had a large dog which Gina would take care of in the evening going on long walks, She also prepared a sit down breakfast, lunch and dinner or the couple daily an took sole charge of their laundry, ironing and household chores, her normal working hours were from 7am – 9pm Monday to Saturday, the role ended as the couple no longer required her help when they both stopped working. We have also received a written reference from this couple who have described Gins as bright, trustworthy, and committed and an excellent cook who became a good friend to them. | | 2001 – 2002 | Singapore | Another full time live in position as a nanny housekeeper for a south African family with 3 children aged 7,4 and newborn when Gina arrived, the mother of the family was at home full time so the role was more shared care although Gina would take charge of the personal needs of the children, from making bottles, sterilizing, feeding, bathing and helping with sleep routines, sometimes waking with the youngest child in the night time, Gina also took charge of the housekeeping of the families 3 bed roomed home, laundry, ironing and shopping, each evening she would cook for the family and on regular occasions she would also help prepare meals for a dinner parties of up to 8 people. The position ended once again when the family relocated to South Africa. We have received a written reference from this family who have described Gina as caring, trustworthy, as having an outgoing personality and strongly recommended. | | 1998 – 2001 | Singapore | A full time live in position for an Australian family with 2 children aged 4 years and 2 and a newborn baby, the role was sole charge and Gina would take charge of the children’s personal needs, from bathing, helping with potty training and taking charge of the school runs, in the day time Gina would work alongside the second housekeeper and take the youngest child to music classes, play groups and out to the park and singing, , the position also included the housekeeping f the families 4 bed roomed home, laundry and ironing and then after shopping Gina would cook a simple meal for them each evening, the role came to an end when the family no longer needed 2 people and Gina decided to move on. We have received an excellent written reference from this family who have described Gina as a competent cook, skilled and extremely handy. | | 1997 – 1998 | Singapore | A short term position for a German family who were looking to stay in Singapore long term, unfortunate they had to relate to Germany for personal reasons, the role lasted 67 months and Gina was in charge of the families daily housekeeping and cleaning of their 3 bed roomed home, laundry, ironing and cooking for their teenage children. We have received an excellent written reference from this family who told us that Gina was and excellent cook; they went on to say they could not adequately impress the immense joy they had with her work. | | 1993 – 1997 | Singapore | A full time live in nanny housekeeper position for a Chinese family with 3 children aged 12, 10, 6 and 4 years, the role was to take sole charge of the children and their personal needs, preparing school lunches uniforms and bags and making sure they completed homework and were on time for lessons, the position also included taking charge of the families housekeeping and cleaning, laundry and ironing and each evening Gina’s would cook a full meal. The position ended when Gina was offered a position with a family for fewer hours. | | 1991 – 1993 | Singapore | A full time live in housekeeper position for a Chinese family who were in their late 50s, the role was demanding and Gina would begin at 6am each morning to prepare breakfast for the coupe and start her cleaning duties in the couples large 2 bed roomed apartment, she also took charge of the laundry and ironing and cared for the lady of the home who suffered from depression and anxiety, Gina would help with medication and doctors appointments, the couple had a large dog who Gina would also take charge of and walk and feed daily, each evening Gina would prepare an evening meal with the lady of the home she was trained by her as the lady was a competent cook. The role came to and end when the family would not increase the annual wage. We have received a written reference from this family who told us that they are confident Gina will be about to accept and handle any domestic duties asked of her. |
