The roles include taking sole charge of the general deep cleaning for 3 large apartments, standard housekeeping duties, washing, laundry, linen, ironing and any shopping chores. | | April 1999 – Present | Kensington High Street | A part time role for 6 hours per week for a busy professional lady, the role is to keep the 1 bed roomed apartment clean and tidy to high standards, polishing silver and brass, taking charge of the laundry and ironing some light shopping and some one preparing meals, Linda goes to the ladies home on Tuesday and Friday mornings for 3 hours each time. The role is on going and Linda would likes to stay working with the lady. | | 2000 – Feb 2009 | Knightsbridge | A long term part time role for an elderly couple. The role is from 9am – 1pm Monday to Friday, the lady of the home has dementia and Parkinson’s and needed care, Linda would provide medication for her, take her out on trips for the morning, go on walks with her, help her wash and dress and help with lunch time, Linda also took charge of the cleaning and housekeeping of the 3 bed room apartment, general laundry and ironing. After 9 years the role ended when the lady of the home had to go to nursing care and Linda was no longer required. | | 1994 – 1995 | Olympia | A part time role for a family whilst Linda was pregnant with her son, the general hours were for 4 hours per week just taking charge of the general cleaning and tidying, laundry and ironing for the families 4 bed roomed apartment. This roe ended when Linda had her son. | | 1993 – 1994 | Golders Green | A shared care nanny housekeeper role for a family with one little girl aged 12 months, Linda worked along side grandma who took the main care of the baby, Linda took sole charge of the cleaning and housekeeping of the family home, laundry and ironing and would also cook for the family in the evening time. | | 1992 – 1993 | Ealing Broadway | Linda started her first UK based ole with a family in London, the role was full time live in from 7am – 7pm and Linda took sole charge of the families housekeeping and cleaning of their 5 bed roomed home, the family had a lot of silver and brass and treated woods which needed to be cared for. The family had 2 teenagers who Linda would help when required. The role ended when Linda was offered a role with a much higher salary. | | 1991 – 1992 | Kuwait | A full time live in housekeeper role for a family who had 5 children aged 2.4.5 years and 2 teenagers. The role was very demanding and Linda would start her day at 7am and not finish until Midnight, this was 7 days per week with one day off per month, Linda took charge of the general cleaning and housekeeping of the 7 bed roomed home, laundry and ironing and worked very closely with the families nannies – Linda would take the children to school and supply care and activities for them before dinner time and take charge of their bath and bed time, working alongside the family chef at meal times, The role ended when the family brought Linda to the UK and she decided to stay on. | | 1990 – 1991 | Riyadh | Linda moved away from home and started her first position with a Saudi family with 3 teenage children, the role was as a sole charge housekeeper taking care of the families cleaning and housekeeping of their large 4 bed roomed home, general laundry and ironing and catering for them after their evening meal being on hand to provide drinks and arrange clothes for the following day. The role ended after one year as Linda was offered another role in Kuwait. |
